Pathways – Part One

In part one, I will describe why it is challenging to define joy or live joyfully. There is a distinct difference between joy, happiness, contentment, and success, but each is somewhat intertwined. Overall, we are talking about the dreaded word, ‘Change.’ The definition of insanity is “Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.” If you want to change some aspects of your life, stop doing the same thing repeatedly. Doing the same thing is unlikely to magically start giving you the results you want.

What follows is a way to look at your life, determine where you are, and decide if there is reason and sufficient ROI (Return on Investment) for you to embark on a journey to try something different. Some subjects to explore are: Why is change difficult, what hinders us from living successfully, what does it take to change, and finally, what is a usable process for the journey?

Disclaimer

You may find that this is the experience of a journey rather than a destination.
